VALDOSTA, GA- GRAB AND RUN

Valdosta, GA– On August 08, 2025, a jeweler was the victim of a grab and run theft. A lone male entered the location and began looking at chains and bracelets. After several minutes, the male decided to apply for a credit line but was declined. Next, the male stated he would buy an item. The employee took the item to the register and began ringing up the sale. While doing so, the male stated he wanted to see another bracelet. The employee the bracelet to the showcase to show the male a different item. However, the male grabbed the above item out of the employees’ hand and began running out of the store. Prior to exiting, the male turned as said “I’m sorry”. Witnesses observed the male enter a tan Dodge Charger with Florida tags. In addition, the male left a GA identification card (photo depicted above) behind. A police report was filed.

Suspect(s) Description: Male, Black, 5’11”, thin build, early 30’s, wearing a Black and Red Jordan Basketball Jersey, Jordan Hat, black pants

LYNNWOOD, WA- GRAB AND RUN

Lynnwood, WA– On August 6, 2025, Alderwood Mall, a jewelry store experienced a grab and run theft by a lone female. The suspect entered the store and indicated she was looking for a gold chain for her husband’s birthday.  The female selected a 24 inch curb necklace chain. Once it was handed to her she fled from the store without making payment period from all security was advised and a report filed with local police. No person was injured in this incident.

Suspect(s) Description: Suspect is described as a 35 year old white female with a slim build approximately 5 foot 2 inches tall. She wore light blue leggings or jogging pants with a light blue tank top under a white/pink top with a Gray and pink pattern on the front. The suspect had dark black hair tied up in a messy bun and gold bracelets on her right wrist. There were no obvious signs of tattoos or scars. Staff did not notice a distinguishable accent.

Myrtle Beach, SC – Distraction Theft.

Myrtle Beach, SC– It was reported on August 01, 2025, that a distraction theft occurred at the Coastal Grand mall jewelry store on July 07, 2025. After completing case counts, the items were discovered missing. After reviewing video, it was determined the merchandise was stolen on July 7th during a distraction theft, in which an employee was showing bracelets and chains to the male depicted above. It was learned the male distracted the employee in the direction away from his hands. The male grabbed gold merchandise and dropped the merchandise into his left palm. Then, the male placed his cell phone in his left hand to hide the merchandise. Seconds later, the male informed the employee that he wanted to buy a gold chain and began walking to the register. While doing so, the male concealed the merchandise in his left pocket. Once they arrived at the register, the male stated he wanted to use his girlfriend’s credit card. The male stated he was going into the mall to get her, and he would be back. He never returned. A police report was filed.

Suspect(s) Description:  Male, Black, mid-50’s, 5’07”, thin build, scruffy gray beard, wearing a dark shirt, hat, shorts, white socks, slides

Richland County, OH – Grab and Run

Richland County, OH– A jewelry store reported a grab and run theft at the Ohio Valley Mall. Two men ran from the store with a necklace and a ring. Both men were seen fleeing in a grey Nissan car.

ROSEVILLE, MI- GRAB AND RUN.

ROSEVILLE, MI– On July 19, 2025- a suspect entered a jewelry store and requested to see gold chains. The employee removed the above-described gold chain still on the display and placed it on the showcase. The suspect grabbed the display neck and chain and ran from the location. Suspect was in the location for two minutes. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.

Suspect(s) Description: Black Male, thin, early twenties, dark complexion, wearing a sombrero, tan and white stripped shirt, khaki shorts, white shoes, and a watch on left wrist.

Memphis, TN- FedEx employee accused of stealing packages with jewelry, gold bars, vintage baseball cards

MEMPHIS, TN – A FedEx employee is accused of stealing tens of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.

The items were reported missing on May 27, after FedEx Memphis Hub Loss Prevention opened an internal investigation into the undelivered packages.

Inside one package was a diamond ring valued at $8,500.

A second package was also reported missing, containing four gold bars valued at a combined $13,591.

Officials tracked the ring and gold bars down to a pawn shop. Police say Antwone Tate sold the items to the pawn shop, using his Tennessee driver’s license to pawn them.

Tate was employed by FedEx at the time and would have had access to the packages.

A third package containing vintage baseball cards was also linked to Tate.

Police say a 1915 Cracker Jack Chief Bender card and a 1933 Goudey Sport Kings Ty Cobb card were listed on eBay by a seller named antta_57.

Police were able to determine Tate was the seller and that he had also stolen the cards, valued at $6,856.

Tate is charged with theft of property in relation to all three thefts.

FedEx confirmed Tate is no longer employed with them, and sent this statement to Action news 5:

Sherman Oaks, CA- GRAB AND RUN.

Sherman Oaks, CA– On July 11, 2025, A jewelry store reported a grab & run theft at the Westfield Fashion Square mall. Upon his approach to the kiosk, the Suspect asked to look at gold chains. Shortly after viewing various 14k & 10k chains, the Suspect palmed the chain he was currently holding to gauge its weight but then ran off with it. A police report was completed with the Van Nuys Police Department. No reported injuries.

Suspect(s) Description: Male Hispanic, late 20’s, approx. 5’9”, 180pds/slim build, fair skinned. Wearing a FedEx uniform, FedEx hat, black sunglasses, glove on left hand.

Volusia County, Fl- Man wanted in $32K pawn shop burglary in Volusia, deputies say.

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fl. – A man wanted by the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office is accused of smashing a glass case at a pawn shop and stealing more than $30,000 in jewelry, the agency said on social media.

X’Zayveon Devon-Prince Burden, 25, has warrants for grand theft, occupied burglary and criminal mischief, the sheriff’s office said.

Burden allegedly entered La Familia Pawn Shop near Orange City just before closing on June 14 while wearing a mask and gloves, according to the post.

He reportedly took about $32,000 in gold chains and jewelry after smashing the case with a crowbar, all while three employees and two customers were in the store, the post states.

LAS VEGAS, NV- GRAB AND RUN.

Las Vegas, NV- On July 03, 2025, it was reported that a grab and run incident occurred at the Las Vegas Premium outlets. A male suspect entered the store where he was greeted by an employee. The male proceeded to the gold showcases and began to look at necklaces and charms. The male requested to look and selected a necklace and selected a charm. The male then tried on the necklace and charm, then quickly fled the store. Mall security and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department were notified and responded. No injuries were reported.

Suspect(s) Description: Male, 30-35yrs. old, Black, 5’4, 135lbs., short black hair, black facial hair, black Adidas t-shirt, denim cargo pants, black and white shoes, dark sunglasses, large watch on left wrist

KINGSTON, NY- DISTRACTION THEFT

Kingston, NY- On Saturday July 5, 2025, a Jewlery store reported a distraction theft after a male and female couple entered the store and asked to see diamond bracelets. The employee removed a display containing multiple bracelets and set it on the counter. The male suspect asked to confirm the price of one of the bracelets and distracted the employee from the display, at which time the male suspect removed one of the bracelets and palmed it in his hands before putting it into his pocket. Both suspects then left the store without making the purchase.

Suspect(s) Description:

Suspect 1: The suspect is described as a tall Eastern European male proximately 6 foot tall with light colored skin, a medium cropped black beard. The suspect wore right and black running shoes, Black shorts and a short sleeve white T-shirt. The suspect also wore a beige or green colored ball cap with a ‘chevron’ logo on the front.

Suspect 2: The suspect is described as a white Eastern European female, approx. 5’3” tall and blond hair in a ponytail. She wore a blue and white floral skirt and a short sleeve white shirt.
