Sherman Oaks, CA– On July 11, 2025, A jewelry store reported a grab & run theft at the Westfield Fashion Square mall. Upon his approach to the kiosk, the Suspect asked to look at gold chains. Shortly after viewing various 14k & 10k chains, the Suspect palmed the chain he was currently holding to gauge its weight but then ran off with it. A police report was completed with the Van Nuys Police Department. No reported injuries.

Suspect(s) Description: Male Hispanic, late 20’s, approx. 5’9”, 180pds/slim build, fair skinned. Wearing a FedEx uniform, FedEx hat, black sunglasses, glove on left hand.

Las Vegas, NV- On July 03, 2025, it was reported that a grab and run incident occurred at the Las Vegas Premium outlets. A male suspect entered the store where he was greeted by an employee. The male proceeded to the gold showcases and began to look at necklaces and charms. The male requested to look and selected a necklace and selected a charm. The male then tried on the necklace and charm, then quickly fled the store. Mall security and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department were notified and responded. No injuries were reported.

Suspect(s) Description: Male, 30-35yrs. old, Black, 5’4, 135lbs., short black hair, black facial hair, black Adidas t-shirt, denim cargo pants, black and white shoes, dark sunglasses, large watch on left wrist

SCOTTSDALE, AZ- GRAB AND RUN.

On June 30, 2025, at the Fashion Square Mall in Scottsdale, AZ, it was reported that a grab and run incident occurred. A male suspect entered the store where he was greeted by an employee. The male proceeded to the gold showcases and began to look at necklaces. The male selected a necklace, was handed the necklace and quickly fled that store. Mall security and the Scottsdale Police Department were notified and responded. No injuries were reported.

Suspect(s) Description: Male, 30-35yrs. old, Hispanic, 5’8, 170lbs., black hair, black beard, red hat, black t-shirt, denim pants, black shoes, tattoo on left arm

Las Vegas, NV– On June 28, 2025, at the Fashion Show, it was reported that a grab and run incident occurred. A male suspect proceeded to the kiosk where he was greeted by an employee.
The male proceeded to the gold showcases and began to look at necklaces and charms. The male requested to look at a charm and necklace together but the employee stated
can only show one item at a time. The male selected a necklace, concealed the necklace in his hoodie pocket and fled the store. Mall security were notified and responded.
Online report was file with Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. No injuries were reported.

BURLESON, TX- GRAB AND RUN.

Burleson, TX– On June 27, 2025, at the Gateway Station, in Burleson, TX, a suspect entered the location and was greeted by an employee. The suspect stated he wanted to look at a Cuban link chain. The employee took him over to the case housing the chains where he began browsing. He asked to see a curb chain and wanted to know the specifics. He inquired about the warranty and payment options, at which time the employee took the chain to the register and quoted the price, the suspect asked to try it on. Once he placed it around his neck, he asked the employee how long he would have to pay it off if he did the financing. At that time, a second suspect opened the door and held it open, they both then fled the location. They were last seen running around the back of the building into the parking lot. No vehicle description was obtained. No injuries were reported.

Suspect 1: 6’2; Black male with dreads; Medium Build; Early twenties wearing Black t shirt, gray hoodie, black sweats and black tennis shoes.

WYOMISSING, PA- GRAB AND RUN

On June 26, 2025, At approx. 5:40 pm, the below described suspect entered a jewelry store and asked to see gold chains. He asked to see the chain described. He also asked to see a pendant on the chain. The employee placed the pendant on the chain and was holding on to it while showing him. The suspect then grabbed the chain and pendant from the employees hand and fled on foot out of the store and mall. Mall security and Wyomissing PD were called to start the investigation. No injuries were reported during this incident

Suspect(s) Description: Black male, early 20s, 5’10” with a slim build, goatee beard. Wearing all black with a red ball cap and red sneakers

CONCORD, NC – GRAB AND RUN

Concord, NC– On June 26, 2025, at the Concord, NC mall, the suspect was greeted by the employee and said that he was interested in seeing men’s chains and pendants. The employee took him to the showcase and he narrowed his search to this chain. The employee took it out of the case and locked the case and was checking the price, then put it on a necklace pad and he asked to hold it. He grabbed it and fled the store. There were no injuries, and the police were notified.

ROCKAWAY, NEW JERSEY – GRAB AND RUN

Rockaway, NJ – On June 14, 2014, a jewelry store reported that a grab and run theft occurred. Two male suspects were looking at rings. The suspects spent some time comparing a few and requested to take a picture of two together. Once both rings were accessible the suspects said something in Spanish, grabbed them both and fled out into the mall. The younger male left his cell phone on the showcase. Rockaway Township Police responded to take a report and seized the cell phone. There were no injuries.

Suspect(s) Description: Suspect 1: Hispanic male, 35-40, 5-8”, medium build, black ball cap, black jacket, black jogging pants with white stripes, all black sneakers, dark medium length hair, some facial hair.

Suspect (s) Description: Suspect 2: Hispanic male, 25-30, 5-10”, slim build, black ball cap, black pullover shirt with white t-shirt underneath, well groomed full black beard, black pants and blk/wht Nike sneakers.

North Charleston, SC- Jewelry store heist halted when off-duty deputy slams into suspect, SC cops say.

N. Charleston, SC – Shopping turned dangerous for an off-duty sheriff’s deputy when he confronted a jewelry store robbery suspect, according to investigators in South Carolina. The takedown happened Tuesday, June 10, in North Charleston, the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office said in a June 11 news release. “Master Deputy Alexander McKinnon was shopping at REEDS Jewelers in Northwoods Mall when a man walked into another nearby store, Great American Jewelry, and asked the store clerk to see some jewelry. The man then grabbed the jewelry and took off running,” the sheriff’s office wrote on Facebook. “McKinnon quickly learned of the situation and chased the suspect, identifying himself as a Deputy Sheriff. The suspect then threatened McKinnon, saying he would have a ‘friend come to the location and shoot him.’ At that moment, McKinnon tackled the suspect.”

He held the suspect down until a North Charleston Police Department Officer showed up to make the arrest, officials said.

The identity of the suspect and details of the charges were not released. McKinnon’s also is a school resource officer for the Charleston County School District. His most recent post was at Mount Zion Elementary School, the sheriff’s office said. “McKinnon’s actions embody all that the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office stands for. As law enforcement professionals, we have the responsibility to serve and protect our community, whether we are in uniform or not,” Charleston County Sheriff Carl Ritchie said in the release. North Charleston is about a 105-mile drive southeast from Columbia.

DUNWOODY, GA- GRAB AND RUN. REPEAT OFFENDER.

DUNWOODY, GA – On June 12, 2025, a jewelry store reported a grab and run theft. It was reported a lone male entered the store and asked to see gold chains. An employee took the suspect over to where the gold chains were and selected one for the suspect to look at. During the presentation of various chains, the employee failed to secure the showcase. The suspect reached in and grabbed 5 chains before fleeing the store without making payment. The employee sustained scratches during the incident as she attempted to close the showcase. Mall security was advised and a report filed with local police.

This suspect is being sought in a similar theft which occurred earlier in the day at an Alpharetta, GA jewelry store gold chains were stolen.

Suspect(s) Description: Black Male suspect in his late 30’s, approx. 6’ tall with a short, cropped beard and black hair tied in dreadlocks, into a ponytail. The suspect wore brown dress shoes, cream dress pants, white dress shirt under a cream-colored vest. He also wore a white hat with the word “Wave” on the front. No visible signs of tattoos, and the suspect wore earrings. He provided a name of “Frederick.”
