Memphis, TN- Police Seek Community Help to Nab Suspect in $10K Jewelry Heist at Local Gold and Diamonds Store

Memphis, TN – The Memphis Police Department responded to an unusual incident. According to the Memphis Police Department Facebook post, a felony shoplifting occurred at Memphis Gold and Diamonds on Elvis Presley Boulevard. A gold chain with a $10,000 medallion was allegedly stolen on December 12th around 4:14 p.m. The suspect, possibly named Tony White, reportedly put on the jewelry and left without paying.

The Memphis Police Department has turned to the community for assistance, urging anyone with knowledge of the event to get in touch with Crime Stoppers by dial calling 528-CASH. Informants are promised a secret ID number, ensuring their anonymity is safeguarded. Additionally, they may also submit tips online or through the P3 Tips mobile application which can be found on app stores. Incentivizing the populous further, a cash reward may be on offer if a tip leads to an arrest courtesy of Crime Stoppers of Memphis and Shelby County, Inc.

Victorville, CA- Teen stole necklaces worth $52K from jewelry store, police say.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested after he allegedly stole two necklaces from from a jewelry store at the Mall of Victor Valley.

The boy, whose identity has not been released, entered Valliani Jewelers at about 5:20 p.m. on Nov. 16, asked about two necklaces, then ran toward the exit with the jewelry, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release.

The boy made it to his vehicle and drove off with the necklaces, which are worth about $52,000, authorities said. He was taken into custody at his Victorville home on Thursday and faces charges of robbery and grand theft.

LITTLE ROCK, AR- GRAB AND RUN.

Little Rock, AR– On December 20, 2024, a grab and run theft incident was reported by a lone male entered who the store under the pretense of shopping for a gift. He immediately approached the showcase that was closest to the front door. Once assisted, he asked to see a pair of 1ct diamond earrings. The earrings were removed from the showcase and placed on the counter. During this presentation, the suspect wanted to compare the first pair with another pair of diamond earrings. When the team member turned away, the suspect grabbed both sets and fled the store in an unknown direction. The suspect was in the store less than 3 minutes. It is believed that the same suspect was in the store with another male the night before. No injuries were reported. A report was filed with North Little Rock Police.

Suspect(s) Description: Male, white, 45-50 years old, tall, thin build, salt and pepper hair with a long ponytail. Wearing a Milwaukee gray ball cap, gray shirt, glasses, tan pants and dark tennis shoes.

North Attleboro, MA – GRAB AND RUN (REPEAT OFFENDER)

North Attleboro, MA– On 12/19/2024, a lone male suspect entered the store. The suspect alleged he was looking to purchase a gold chain. After discussing several options, the suspect requested to look at the Cuban Curb necklace described above. The employee advised the suspect only one item can be presented. The suspect secured the necklace around his neck and then removed the necklace. At that point, the suspect balled the chain up in his right hand and ran from the store. No injuries were reported. Mall Security and the North Attleboro Police were notified.

Suspect(s) Description: Male, Black, thin build, 28 to 34yrs, 5’9”, short black hair, black beard, wearing a black graphic pullover, jeans, and black Nike sneakers. Note, the suspect is wearing the same sneakers in all photos below.

SILVERDALE, WA- GRAB AND RUN

Silverdale, WA- On December 21, 2024, at the Kitsap Mall, a grab and run occurred when a lone male approached the store and asked to see a variety of items. He indicated he was shopping for his girlfriend and was looking for a set of gold items. The suspect was allowed to try on a gold chain with a star pendant while also looking at a pair of earrings and a gold ring. Once the pendant and chain were around his neck, he grabbed the earrings and the ring and ran from the location without making payment. No person was injured in this incident. Mall security was advised and a report filed with local police. The suspect fled in a vehicle with license plate CCY1064 as per security. Possibly on a Hellcat.

Suspect(s) Description: The suspect is described as a Hispanic or lighter skinned black male in his late 20s early 30 years of age. He was 5’7” tall and weighted approximately 165 pounds. He wore dark colored pants panda black puffy Nike jacket and a black wool hat with a Nike logo on the front. He wore a white t-shirt under a black sweatshirt, white socks, and dark colored running shoes. The suspect appeared to have a mustache and tattoos on his neck and hand. Team members describe seeing a flame tattoo on his neck and a rose tattoo on his hand.

JOLIET, ILLINOIS- GRAB AND RUN.

Joliet, Illinois– On December 18, 2024, at the Louis Joliet Mall in Joliet Illinois, a lone suspect entered the site looking for men’s jewelry. The employee assisting him showed him men’s diamond rings and he selected one looked at it and gave it back and then selected a 2nd ring. When he had possession of the ring he just walked out of the store. Both Mall Security and Police were called and responded. No injuries were reported.

JEFFERSONVILLE, OHIO- GRAB AND RUN.

On December 3, 2024, A Grab and Run theft occurred from a jewelry store totaling $9,999.98. According to Management, a single suspect entered the location and asked to see gold chains. The employee showed him one chain at a time with no apparent issues. The suspect then asked to see an entire tray of pendants, which contained three and he was denied. He asked if he could see the chain and the pendant together, which the employee complied with and as soon as the pendant was placed on the chain, he grabbed the chain and said, “Thank you” and ran from the store. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office was contacted, and a report was filed. No injuries were reported.

BUFORD, GA- GRAB AND RUN.

Buford, GA– On December 13, 2024, an unknown guest entered the store and asked to see men’s bracelets. The associate took one bracelet out to show the guest. The guest asked what the sale price was and the associate took the bracelet to the register to get the price. The associate returned to the guest who asked to see a different bracelet. The associate returned the bracelet to the case and placed a second bracelet on the guest. The guest hesitated for about 30 seconds and then ran off to his car and drove away.

Suspect(s) Description: white male, brown hair, mid twenties approximately 5’8″ and medium build, about 160lbs. He was wearing a grey amine t-shirt with an animated character, dark pants and tennis shoes. He had on a leather necklace and a leather bracelet on his left

Camarillo, CA- GRAB AND RUN.

Camarillo, CA– On December 06, 2024, A Jewelry store experienced a grab & run theft incident. The suspect is the same person as seen in both FOLSOM, CA and SHERMAN OAKS, CA. Upon entry into the store the Suspect inquired about gold bracelets. During the presentation the employee had a bracelet and a diamond ring in her possession when the Suspect grabbed both items out of her hand and ran out of the store. Camarillo Police Department was notified whereupon an investigation was initiated. No reported injuries.

Suspect(s) Description: Black male, 30’s, 5’9”, 200-250lbs. Shoulder length dreadlocks with gold coloring. Wearing black hoodie with flame logo, military jeans, white sneakers.

Dunwoody, GA- GRAB AND RUN.

Dunwoody, GA– On December 07, 2024, a jeweler reported a theft at the Perimeter Mall, in which a lone male entered the location and began looking at gold chains and bracelets. After looking at several, the male stated he wanted to buy the above gold chain and a bracelet. The employee took the items to the sales counter, and while processing the sale, the male asked to try on the chain. The employee handed the chain to the male. The male walked to a mirror and tried it on. Then, the male handed the employee a different chain, declined on making the purchase and exited the location. The employee immediately recognized the chain was switched and no longer had a price tag on it. The police were contacted, and report filed.

Suspect(s) Description: Male, Black, 5’09”, medium build, late 30’s, wearing a blue Hoodie, blue beanie
