Woodburn, OR- GRAB AND RUN.

Woodburn, Oregon: On December 02, 2024, it was reported that a grab and run incident occurred at a Jewelry Store. Kay Outlet. A male suspect entered the store and was greeted by an employee. The male mentioned to the team member that he and his girlfriend were in the day before looking at gold chains and he wanted to take pictures of the ones he liked. The male suspect selected a good chain and the employee placed the gold chain on a pad. The male suspect took a picture of the gold chain, grabbed the gold chain, ran and exited the store. Mall security and the Woodburn Police Department were notified and responded. No injuries reported.

Suspect(s) Description: Male, Caucasian or Hispanic, 5’8, 50-60 years old, black hat, black face mask, black Champion hoodie, grey sweatpants, black and white shoes

Citrus, Heights, CA- GRAB AND RUN.

On December 02, 2024, at the Sunrise mall located in Citrus Heights, CA, the suspect, who had visited the store earlier in the day had indicated he liked a particular diamond ring and stated he’d be back to look at it. Upon the Suspect’s return he asked to view the diamond ring where once it was in his possession he ran off. Citrus Heights Police Department was notified, and an investigation initiated. No reports of injuries.

Suspect(s) Description: Caucasian male, 23-30 yrs. old, 5’9”, thin build, shoulder length curly dirty brown hair. Wearing grey toned hoodie, black sweatpants, small black backpack with colorful graffiti or stockers on it, fluffy brown slides, and wearing a baklava pulled down.

Noblesville, IN- GRAB AND RUN

Noblesville, Indiana– On December 02, 2024, at the Hamilton Town Center, located in Noblesville, Indiana, a lone suspect entered the site looking for a women’s tennis bracelet. The suspect was in the store for approximately 1 1/2 hours. The suspect couldn’t make up his mind between the gold and silver bracelets. The employee placed both bracelets down on the pad for comparison. The suspect grabbed both bracelets and fled the location with both items. The authorities arrived and initiated their investigation which is on-going.

Suspect(s) Description: Black Male; Late 30’s; Medium Build; 5’11” 190lb. Attire: Gray Beanie, White Track Suit Top, and Blue Jeans.

Temple, TX- GRAB AND RUN

Temple, TX- On November 26, 2024, a suspect entered the jewelry store at the Temple Mall wearing medical scrubs and a surgical mask. The suspect entered the location under the pretense of shopping for men’s jewelry. The man announced his name was Terry, then changed direction of interest and said he was looking to surprise his girlfriend with a ring. The suspect asked if they had a clearance section, Once the suspect was handed the ring, he fled the location. This suspect has been seen at numerous other locations in the surrounding areas of Temple, TX.

Suspect(s) Description: Black Male, Tall 6FT to 6’2, Dark Complexion, Medium build, Hair- short
Mid To late 20s, Neck and arm tattoos, Attire: Teal scrubs, Lanyard around his neck, Black Slides with white socks, White face mask

SOMERVILLE, MA- GRAB AND RUN

Somerville, MA– On 11/22/2024, a lone male suspect entered a jewelry store. The suspect walked to the diamond solitaire showcase and alleged he was searching for an engagement ring. The suspect alleged his name was Albert Jones. After looking at a couple rings, the suspect requested to take a photo of the solitaire ring described above. The employee placed the ring in the countertop display pad. The suspect took possession of the ring and proceeded to take a photo. After doing so, the employee requested the ring be returned. At that point, the suspect walked towards the exit door and left with the ring. No injuries were reported. The Somerville Police were notified.

Suspect(s) Description: Male, Black, thin build, 28 to 34yrs, 5’9”, short black hair, black beard, wearing a white button-down shirt, tan pants, and black Nike sneakers.

Aventura, Florida- Suspect ARRESTED after committing grab and run theft from jewelry store.

Aventura, Florida– On November 25, 2024, A suspect asked to see gold chains and the employee, after using a tablet for showing the item, permitted the suspect to see the gold chain upon request. The suspect asked to try it on and subsequently ran from the store. No injuries were incurred, and a police report was filed. The Police responded quickly to the store and a short time later the suspect was arrested and the chain recovered.

Houston, TX – Surveillance video captures smash-and-grab robbery; thieves steal $20K worth of jewelry.

Houston, Texas- Security cameras captured a swift and aggressive robbery at a jewelry store in Houston earlier this week. The crime took place on Nov. 21 just before 2:45 p.m. at Arnold’s Jewelry & Watch Repair, a jewelry store located inside of El Ranchero Supermercado at 11303 Veterans Memorial Dr. in northwest Houston.

ROCKWALL, TX- GRAB AND RUN.

Rockwall, Tx- a lone suspect entered a jewelry store at the Plaza of Rockwall Mall while talking on his phone and began looking around, when greeted by the employee, he asked for any Black Friday Sales. The employee handed him the ring he had expressed an interest in and as he extended his hand out, pretending to take a picture, he grabbed it from the employees hand and fled the location. Rockwall PD responded to the location.

Suspect(s) Description: Black Male, 6 FT, Thin Build, Attire: Light colored shorts, White t-shirt, black ball cap, sunglasses, Slides.

GRAB AND RUN- North ATTLEBURY, MA

North Attleboro, MA – On 11/17/2024, a lone male suspect entered the store and requested to look at men’s fashion rings. The suspect initially looked at two rings, one at a time, and then requested to look at the men’s ring described above. The employee assisted the suspect with trying on the ring. Once on his finger the suspect stood there examining the ring and then casually walked away with the ring. No injuries were reported. Mall Security and the North Attleboro Police were notified.

Suspect(s) Description: Male, Black, 5’9”, thin build, 30 to 35yrs, short black hair, beard, wearing a white button-down shirt, torn blue jeans and black sneakers.

DORAL, FL- Police: Video shows man swipe $42K gold chain from Doral Macy’s.

DORAL, Fla. – November 13, 2024- A man is facing charges after police said he was caught on camera swiping a nearly $43,000 gold chain from a Macy’s store in Doral last week, authorities confirmed Wednesday.

Police said Eduardo Javier Lopez Hernandez, 43, was arrested following a dramatic chase through a parking lot after he allegedly grabbed the high-value jewelry and fled the store without paying.

Detectives also seek Yoan Morera Guirado, 46, in connection with incident.
