GRAB AND RUN – CHANDLER, AZ

On 11/29/22, at approximately 3:00 p.m., a grab and run occurred at a retail jewelry store.� Two males entered a store and requested to see a gold chain and pendant combination.� As the team member removed both items and was assembling the combination to show the subjects, one of the subjects reached across the counter and grabbed the items from the team members’ hands, running from the location.� Subject 2 then quickly followed and ran out of the store as well.� The subjects’ descriptions are below:

Subject 1: Black male, mid to late-20’s, approximately 5’10” �” 6’, medium build, wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt with yellow writing, camo print shorts, and black/white shoes.

Subject 2: Black male, lighter complexion, mid to late-20s, approximately 5’10”, thin build, wearing a grey beanie, grey hooded sweatshirt, blue shorts, and black shoes

ROBBER SHOT – COLORADO SPRINGS, CO

On 2/16/22, at approximately 5:40 p.m., a male subject was shot by a jewelry store employee, in what has been reported as a robbery. The subject is believed to have been dropped off at a hospital. The subject’s injuries are not life-threatening and this is a developing situation. There may be an additional subject involved. SMASH & GRAB – WESTMINSTER, CO

On 1/3/22, at approximately 5:00 p.m., a� male subject entered a jewelry store and immediately used a hammer to breach a showcase containing gold chains.� The subject then fled the location and exited the mall area in a black BMW with yellow brake calipers. He was described as 5’11” and Hispanic. He has a slender build, and weighs 170 lbs. The subject has a red tattoo under his right eye area.� He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie with a sleeveless dark unzipped vest-style “puff” coat, dark pants, a black ball cap, and face mask. GRAB & RUN – SAN JOSE, CA

On 9/30/21. at approximately 8:00 p.m., a grab and run theft occurred at a retail jewelry store.� A subject approached the store and stated she would like to return an item she had purchased two days prior, but she did not have the card she made the purchase with.� While the associate worked with her, the subject requested to see earrings from another associate.� The associate working on the return contacted another store location, who informed the associate that the subject had attempted fraud at their location earlier in the day.

When the subject was informed that the store would have to continue calling around to see who could assist with the return, the suspect ran from the location with the earrings in her possession.� The subject’s name on the receipt was Casslyn.� Mall Security and San Jose Police Department were contacted. The subject was described as a White female in her early to mid-twenties. She is approximately 5’6″. She has a thin build and long black hair. GRAB & RUN – MORENO VALLEY, CA

On 9/5/21, at approximately 11:20 a.m., a male subject approached a jewelry store and asked if his “chain was here”.� After being informed the store didn’t open until 12:00 p.m., the subject stated he had been helped two days prior and asked if there was any way the store could open the gates for him at that moment.� After being informed by the team member that they would be happy to help him once the store was open, he departed in a rush and was irritated.

Upon the subject’s return, after the store opened, he described a 10K yellow gold lion pendant and gold chain he had been shown on his previous visit.� After trying on both pieces, the subject began to talk about possibly applying for progressive leasing as well as requesting to try on a third item, a gold & diamond ring.� After the team member showed him the ring to try on, the subject threw on his hoodie and took off running with all three items.� The subject was described as Black, and approximately 20-years- old. He is 5’8”, 130 lbs, and has short dreadlocks with blonde highlights. He was last seen wearing a navy-blue hoodie. DISTRACTION THEFT – GREENVILLE, NC

On 2/18/21, at approximately 3:00 p.m., a female subject told the sales associate that she was interested in a chain. She picked one out and tried it on. The chain she returned to the sales associate was not the same chain. The sales associate showed the manager the chain and the subject began to argue with them. Mall security was called and followed the woman out of the mall to a car. Mall security got the license plate and reported it to the police. It was later determined that the woman had tried to sell her original necklace to another jeweler in the mall, and they refused. It appears that she switched that same necklace with the one from the incident described above. Police will charge the woman. She is a 30-year-old, Black and 5’2″. She was last seen wearing a black wig, jeans and a black hoodie.

ARMED ROBBERY – MONROE, NC

On 5/9/19, at approximately 3:45 p.m., two subjects entered a jewelry store and displayed weapons. They ordered sales associates to go to the store’s back room. They then asked to be shown the safe. They removed damaged merchandise that was in the safe. They proceeded to ask for showcase keys. They opened the gold showcase and removed pieces. They then fled from the store. The subjects were described as 23-year-old Black males with thin builds. The first subject is 5’10” and the second subject is 6’0”. GUNPOINT SMASH & GRAB – BAYTOWN, TX

On 4/16/19, at approximately 12:45 p.m., four subjects entered a jewelry store and said, “you are about to be robbed.” The subjects then ordered sales associates and employees to remain still and silent. One of the subjects displayed a handgun. They then proceeded to smash the glass on 17 display cases. The subjects took jewelry and watches. They placed them in bags and then left the store. They entered into a white or gray four-door sedan. Three of the subjects appeared to be Black males. Two of them hand thin builds, while one of them had a medium build. SMASH & GRAB – COLUMBIA, SC

On 4/10/19, at approximately 8:30 p.m., two subjects entered a jewelry store and brandished hammers. They ordered the sales associates to get down. One of the subject’s went to the Inventory Control Office and kicked the door. The subject yelled at sales associates to come out of the room. The subject then smashed display cases and peeled back glass on display cases. They removed loose stones and then fled. The first subject was described as a Black male with long hair and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black coat with a hood and black sneakers witch white soles. The second subject was of unknown race. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and a hood. He also wore a black mask with gray sweat pants and black shoes.
